Mongol Startup
Turn 1:
Disband those pretty looking completely useless archers.
Food ratio at extreme.
Research tools.
Explore 50 forest.
Que 28 Toolmakers
Que 160 woodcutters

Take 2 turns

Turn 3:
Que 10 toolmakers and move them to the top
Take turn

Turn 4:
Que 5 toolmakers
Que 100 Hunters
Take turn

Turn 5:
Que 10 toolmakers (This may be more or less depending on how much tools you just lost. Make sure you can use all tools the turn after.
Que 26 Hunters (This may vary as well depening on how much forests you gained by now.)
Que max Iron mines
Take turn

Turn 6:
Que 16 toolmakers
Que 8 Hunters
Que 2 Towncenters
Move Iron mines to the bottum
Take turn

Turn 7:
Send out 60 explorers. (Yes that is why you build 2 towncenters at the previous turn.)
Que 10 Hunters
Que 20 toolmakers
Que max iron mines
Take turn

Turn 8:
Que 26 toolmakers
Que 12 Hunters
Move Iron mines to the bottum
Take turn

Turn 9:
Que 8 Hunters
Que 16 Iron mines (The final ones)
Que max towncenters
Take turn
Till this point I haven’t used to markets.

Turn 10:
Your toolmakers start malfunctioning because you don’t have enough population, but they earn the least anyway so don’t bother with it. (Plus next turn farms don’t use population for some turns…)
Sell extra tools for income.
Make some more woodcutters, if you keep making Hunters you’ll get plenty of food which is useless so get some wood, this makes you build a bit faster. It is a balance though 300-400 woodcutters is about the top.
Build max amount of towncenters from now on. (After you build woodcutters or Hunters of course, IF however you are stockpiling resources and not using them you need to first build towncenters and then economy…)
If you don’t have enough money to make full use of all builders demolish some buildings. Start with towers, 4 markets, in total about 20-30 houses can go (Depending on your current space left of course and the 20 farms can go as well.)
Turn 11:
Put growth on very High.(You can maybe do this already a turn before, depends on how your pop grew.) (Ideale moment to start building some extra woodcutters.)

I agree with this being the best Mongol start to date. I believe this is RaDiKaaL's start? I remember Temujin showed me this start a few months back. My first attempt with it I managed to get 3.5 mill land and 202 RL in 800 turns. That was my personal best until the next round when I was mongol ( Jenna Lee/Glo ) and Temujin was the Turk.

I hit about 3.4 or 3.5 mill land and 190 RL with approximently 63 to 68 turns left. Then I spent the rest of my turns making gold up to 12 billion gold. Anyway, I was definitely on my way to approx 4.1 mill land, and 200+ RL, if I wouldn't have made gold in pro. This would have matched the best 800 turn Mongol start that I have ever seen set by Zombie who had approx 4.1 mill land and 202 RL.

If you can break 4 mill land and 200 RL in 800 turns of pro with no PM you are a really good player IMO. Definitely one of the best around, that's for sure.

It was reported, (Archangel?) that 5.5 mil land, 250 rls was possible in 800 turns as a Mongol?

Maybe when you get a chance glo, you can do a turn by turn Mongol 800 turn pro? Although I think it may take about 10 times as long to do as a Turk pro.. rotfl...

This is definately the best start, but to be honest, it really isn't detailed enough for most to follow. I can follow it at the start and be in front, but no way can I hit anywhere near the reported totals for "following this strat".
It gives pretty good indications of what his land make up is, and detailed first 10 turns, so is certainly good to get the mind thinking about what is possible.

Maybe sometime I will make detailed mongol start, but I don't think I could give away a full 800 turn start. =) Too many people I don't like in this game and I don't want them using my mongol start. Turk start is okay to give away though...

that's 300 turns. as you can see a good 10 RL behind you... all I can say is you are amazing at protection runs... I don't know if you calculate every little thing or what but regardless you're the man... lol... I'll be honest - I didn't calc **** this attempt as I was just trying to get my pro run done so I can play... but still... I think if I were to calc every little thing I wouldn't match your 80 RL with 500k+ land... again... hmmz.... i wonder...

Anyway here is my finished pro run in blitz ( 800 turns )

I did calculate a lot. In your defense I think they have slightly changed a few numbers in game. I am sure that the food needed for exploring formula has changed, but I have no idea how much (or in which direction).

This is using the first two years provided above, but a more detailed pro run up to sept 26
Also, I did this the way Glo does his, as in I stop exploring forest after a certain point.
I struggled to keep up all 6 years, but that is probably because I start with too much mage towers, which probably costed me research and land in the end. But over all it still matches the [800k land for 50rsl....700k land for 60rsl....670k land for 63rsl]

(I did this in notepad while I was running, so I made notes along the way)

Best thing about this run, when i hit 100 w/t I wont have to worry
about how much it hurts to convert to a lot of toolmakers, but my
research did hurt a little, I should have waited a couple years before
putting up any mage towers, i think I would of had more land and
probably 7 more research. I think if i didn't screw up my first 5 years,
I would have had 700k land and 70rsl.

Lastely, I think last 80 turns you should explore just Plains, and stop the All Land,
during this time is when you struggle a lot just to get toolmakers up from 5k to over 60k
but should be easy when leaving pro, for a faster pro.

thats crazy, best i've done was like 3+mil land and 180+rls, of course I've never done turn by turn before because I lose patience. but looking at the other posts here, I know I am well behind in the early years

Usually in mongol pro I start converting to plains and making weapons ready for sale once I leave pro. Pro isn't really important in blitz, but really important with standard. I once started in blitz a week late, and killed 2 camping russians in 1 run thanks to Geezus and his horses the next week. Then I got fed up and deleted 800m land out of the game. People weren't too happy with me, and Ural ended up winning.

Not really sure what bubble you are trying to bust? I gave a break down of what I did, and as you can see, I made sure to post Jan 1025, which is 300 turns. It was the first time I tried that strategy, and thought it would be a good guide for others. Also, only second time playing mongol I believe. It wasn't meant to impress, but to show what I did, with running results.
